Review flights
Check imported schedule legs, correct missing details, approve flights, and exclude non-flight events.
Plus reads flights out of calendar events automatically. Use Review to confirm what it found, fill in missing details, and approve the flights that are correct.
Open Review
- In the app: open the Plus Sync screen and select Import. While any imported flights are waiting, the Import tab shows Review imported flights in place of the import options. When nothing is waiting, the import options return.
- On the website: open Review.
Understand the review states
- Imported needs your review.
- Missing info does not have every field required for a complete flight: airline, flight number, origin, destination, departure, and arrival.
- Verified has been reviewed and approved.
- Operating identifies a flight you operate.
- Deadhead identifies a flight on which you travel as a passenger for work.
Review also lists imported events that Plus classified as Reserve, Vacation, Training, Union business, Qualification, Admin, or Other instead of flights.
Review an imported flight
- Under To verify, check the flight number, airports, dates, and times.
- Open the flight editor when a field is missing or incorrect. In the app, select the flight to open Edit flight.
- Enter the flight information and choose Operating, Deadhead, or Unknown.
- Save the changes.
- Select Mark as verified in the app or Approve flight on the website.
In the app, select Show n reviewed flights to see flights you have already approved. On the website, approved flights move to Previous imports.
Approve several flights at once
On the website, Approve all approves every flight under To verify that has complete details. When some flights are missing details, the button reads Approve all complete and leaves those flights in the list for you to fix. The app approves flights one at a time.
Approve imports automatically
On the website, turn on Always approve imports automatically beside Approve all or under Settings → Schedule. Future imports and calendar refreshes then approve every flight that has complete details, in the app and on the website. Flights with missing details still wait in Review.
The setting applies to imports from the moment you turn it on. Flights already waiting in Review stay there until you approve them.
Correct a verified flight
Open the flight from Schedule or the reviewed flights, edit its fields, and save. Changes are included the next time a linked display refreshes its schedule.
In the app, you can also change Show on device in the flight editor. The website does not currently provide this control.
Return a flight to review
In the app, open a verified flight and select Mark as imported. The flight returns to the imported state. The website does not currently provide this control.
Restore an excluded event
On the website, find the event under Previously excluded and select Restore. Restoring removes the exclusion so a future import can consider the event again. It does not turn the event into a flight.
The app lists excluded events under Excluded but cannot restore them.
Review schedule changes
Live Google Calendar and calendar URL sources continue to refresh. When a refresh adds a flight or changes a flight's airline, number, airports, times, or type, the flight returns to Imported. The website shows Schedule changes need review; select Review changes, check the updated details, and approve the flights again. In the app, the flights appear on the Import tab.
If automatic approval is on, complete flights from a refresh are approved without this step, and the sync summary in Review reports how many flights were approved automatically.
If nothing is waiting, the website shows No schedule imports to review and the app's Import tab shows the import options. You can import another schedule or return to Schedule.
